It seems that we rarely get time to breathe these days. There’s always something to do, someone to see or something that you haven’t had time to do yet but will do, just as soon as you’ve finished doing all the other things that have to be done first.

If only we knew how to slow down or even (perish the thought) stop for a moment, we might notice the fact that ours are not the only busy lives. Lives being lead right along side those of our own, that make a great contribution to our environment and that are undoubtedly as valid a part of the community as any other.

The following photographs were taken in and around Pilton during July and feature some of our lesser known locals that share the same space but for whom we rarely seem to get time to stop long enough to notice, acknowledge or enjoy.

Got to go, I should have been somewhere half an hour ago…
