THE “MARKETPLACE” The “marketplace” will be an opportunity for you to meet funding and community advice providers, including organisations such as: the Big Lottery, Charity Bank, Market and Coastal Towns Association, Somerset Community Foundation, representatives from the District and County Councils, ViSTA, the Energy Advice Centre and others. Information stands and displays will be available for you to visit from 10.00am – 6.00pm. No appointments are necessary. WORKSHOPS Pre-booking is advisable to guarantee a space. Numbers will be limited due to room size – but we will make every effort to accommodate people’s preferences. Sessions will start promptly and last no more than two hours. We will repeat many of them during the day, to allow maximum numbers to attend. Please indicate your plans, by ticking your preferred sessions (see booking forms, over leaf, and the workshop descriptions, provided): COMMUNITY VENTURES TRAINING A free day of training for community groups and organisations, including sessions on start up guidance, community buildings – viability and sustainability, and income generation.
