Anyone would have thought back at the beginning of the year that any time in July would be a pretty safe bet for fine weather and a great evening out fund raising on behalf of the New Village Hall. Well, at least the latter was true!

On Saturady 14th it was again, courtesy of Finn Christensen, that the annual Hog Roast took place at Steanbow Farm. Around 100 people turned out to enjoy another great evening at the farm, eating, drinking and dancing to the band.

This was one of several fund raising events that have and will continue to take place throughout the year, so please come along and support them whenever you can. The next one will be on Sunday 2nd September during the Pilton show weekend with the Tennis Tournament Final. (Call Alison for details on 716).
