KARAOKE NIGHT!

Once again, the Boys from the NYPD Choir were singing Galway Bay down in the tube station at midnight, far away from the Green green grass of home on Friday night at the Crown Inn. So, if you ever feel the urge to be a star man or a candle in the wind keep your eye on the 'What's On' page to see when your next opportunity will be.

KARAOKE NIGHT!

There were one or two new faces at the Crown for the September evening of Karaoke at the Crown. This time only eight glasses were shattered when Jason hit the high notes and most of the pictures stayed on the walls. The Karaoke machine was, as usual, reliably driven by Andy Reilly who was thankfully always ready to step in and take up the microphone whenever the standard of singing looked like becoming too high.

KARAOKE NIGHT!

Thank you to everyone that had the bottle to stand up and sing make a noise into the microphone on Friday 28th July. The event was great fun as always.

As expected, several of Simon Cowell's scouts turned up throughout the evening but most left once they realised that the Pilton standard is simply too high for the likes of X Factor. A spokesman for ITV was later heard to say "We are seriously considering a completely new series based on the wealth of natural Pilton talent, we're not yet sure what it will be called but like the sound of  The Y? Factor!"
