On Tuesday 29th May the Club played host to a night of fund raising on behalf of The MALAWI EDUCATION PROJECT. This is a non profit organisation based in Bristol that send among other things Books, Stationary, Sports equipment and Musical instruments to Malawi one of the worlds poorest countries.

During the evening a raffle was held for a plethora of prizes which included several items donated by CNN the American News Channel who are currently in Pilton filming the build up to the festival.

The karaoke was provided by Andy and Mark and as usual there were plenty of Pilton bred Madonnas Sinatras, and Kylies ready to take up the mike.

In total the evening raised well over £300 which will in turn go to help educate children thousands of miles away.
