On the evening of Saturday 28th January 2006, four days after the first of the below photographs were taken, the Pavilion burnt down. The following morning the next two pictures were taken. Over the course of the next eighteen months slowly but surely the New Pilton Pavilion has risen again, stronger, bigger and with better facilities. Difficult to envisage in January 2006.

At 2.30pm on Sunday 2nd September Michael Eavis officially opened the New Pavilion on the Pilton Playing Field.
