PhysioTools, the global market leader in exercise prescription software recently held their international marketing meeting in Pilton. This was the second time that delegates from Finland, Canada and Sweden gathered at the PhysioTools UK office to work in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the friendly hospitality of this Somerset village.

The delegates’ first evening was spent at the Pilton Show Barn Dance, learning from  locals dances they had never tried before, and meeting again people that some had met during their visit two years ago.

Delegates stayed at Freedom Cottage, a bed and breakfast establishment owned by Dee and Bob Frost, in Pilton and were overwhelmed by the amazing views from the breakfast table of the church and the sight of the kingfisher near their pond.

Meals were taken at local restaurants and one evening was spent in The Crown Inn in Pilton, enjoying a meal followed by a game of Skittles – The delegates split into two teams ‘The Commonwealth’ and ‘The Nordic’ and although the Commonwealth won (with a little help from experienced player George Milne) it was the Nordics who were later to prove triumphant at the pool table.

During their visit, time was found to enjoy a visit to Wells and Wells Cathedral and to save a lot of money at Clarks Village!  The delegates are eagerly waiting for their next meeting in Pilton in a few years time.
