We have a highly qualified and experienced staff team who are supported and managed by our voluntary Committee which is made up of parents. We offer a broad range of indoor activities each day in order to keep children stimulated and motivated, and make sure that we make full use of our beautiful gardens which contain a variety of play equipment in order to promote children’s physical health, and vary their play experiences. Staff also like to take children on regular walks in the lovely village of Pilton so that they come to know, love and respect their locality. Through these, and other, means we aim to encourage a love of learning and strong social skills to help children become ready for their next big step into school.
We are always very pleased to join in with, and organise, local events and usually provide children’s activities at the Pilton Show along with having our very own Spring Fair each year. We recently held a fabric remnant sale at North Wootton village hall with cakes, second hand toys and clothes donated by Playgroup parents. This was a roaring success for us and we would like to thank all those who supported us in this event.
Our Playgroup parents are excellent bakers and if you are holding an event and would like us to provide you with a refreshments stall please do get in touch.
We are currently open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9.15 until 1pm. Children can stay for our lunch club from 12-1pm, or be collected at 12pm.
