PILTON RESIDENTS FESTIVAL INFORMATION All security levels will be the same as for previous festivals. The Police foot patrols in the village have been extended and will commence two days before the festival and continue for a week after the festival. The Police check points will also be in the same places as they were for the previous festival and will start a week prior to the start. There will again be a Drop in Centre at the village hall. Representatives from Mendip Council, the Police and the Festival will be available 24 hours a day to deal with any problems or queries that you may have regarding the festival generally. The Village will have the same level of lighting as in previous years. It is planned to install this a week prior to the event.
