For £25.00 per year anyone who wishes to have garden waste collected on a fortnightly basis may do so. This is a scheme that has been set up by Mendip District Council and anyone that is interested in having an additional wheely bin delivered for this purpose should contact Customer Services on 01749 648999.

The Tip at Dulcote has been recycled!

 and is now a Recycling Centre.

The Local HOUSEHOLD WASTE RECYCLING CENTRE is at Hill Quarry, Dulcote, near Wells (tel 01749 670973) It is designed for householders to take extra refuse and items that cannot be put out for collection. They are open every day except Christmas Day and New years day.

Opening Times: Summer (April - September) 8am-8pm, Winter (October - March) 8am - 5pm
