JUNETo include your event... email contact@pilton.com Tuesday 8th HISTORY GROUP Meet 7pm at the Blackmoor reserve car park GR 505556 at Charterhouse if you have a full car, or at Pilton Village Hall at 6.15pm to share lifts. Steve Tofts will lead a walk around the archaeology of Charterhouse on the Mendip Hills. This will be an easy walk of less than one mile, followed by a longer walk with some rough ground and short hills for those who wish. Please wear suitable footwear! Dogs under control are welcome but watch out for adders and ticks! The walk will take place regardless of weather so come prepared. Voluntary donations invited for the CHERT group will be collected on the evening.
